PTA GENERAL BODY 2025-26
The Parent –Teacher Association General Body meeting of St Monica English Medium School for the academic year 2025-26 was held on 19-07-2025 at the school auditorium. The programme commenced with a grand entrance of the Chief Guest Rev. Fr K C Mathew, Principal of Don Bosco Central School, Manjeshwar, Manager Rev. Fr Melwyn D’Souza, Vice-Principal Fr. Suraj Joseph Lobo, Academic Secretary Mrs. Archana, PTA Vice- President Mr. Ramesh Rai, Parish Pastoral Council Vice-President Mr. Raju Stephen D’Souza, Secretary Mrs. Lydia to the venue.
The MC, Miss Chandrakala introduced the guests to the gathering. The meeting began with a soulful prayer song invoking God’s blessing for the success of the event. After the formal lamp lighting ceremony the welcome note was delivered by Miss. Milani. Mrs. Irene Rodrigues, the joint Secretary presented the report of the year 2024-25. A power point presentation on the various activities of the academic year 2024-25 was displayed to the audience.
The dignitaries officially released the school magazine ‘St Monica Fountain’ 2024-25. Following this, Vice-Principal Fr. Suraj Joseph Lobo introduced the chief guest Fr. K C Mathew to the audience. The esteemed guest Fr. K. C Mathew took the stage and addressed the audience on the topic of ” Better Parenting”.
Later the Chief Guest and PTA Vice president of the year 2024-25 Ramesh Rai were felicitated.
Following, this was the interaction session, where the parents kept forward their concerns and suggestions. The manager Fr. Melwyn then shared his valuable insights with the parents on how to ensure the welfare and well being of their children, both at school and at home. He also responded to the concerns of the parents. His words aimed to strengthen the partnership between parents and teachers in fostering a good learning environment for the students. The process of appointing the new PTA Executive committee for the year 2025-26 was then conducted and the new elected team members were introduced to the attendees. The event ended with a vote of thanks proposed by Mrs Priya S followed by the National Anthem.
