he Investiture Ceremony for the academic year 2025–26 was held on 4th July 2025 at St. Monica English Medium School, Kumbla, with great pride and enthusiasm. The event began by welcoming the Chief Guest, Fr. Rithesh Rodrigues, to the stage with a vibrant band performance, accompanied by the newly elected School Council members.
The formal proceedings started with a prayer song and prayer intentions led by Sr. Vimala and her team, followed by a graceful welcome dance. Mrs. Mamatha Shetty delivered the welcome speech. A short PowerPoint presentation on election day was also presented.
The newly elected Student Council made a grand entry, and the school honoured them by presenting sashes, badges, and greeting cards to all the council members. The ceremonial lamp was lit by the dignitaries, and the cabinet members were formally introduced. The oath-taking ceremony marked a solemn promise by the council to uphold their duties with dedication, administered by the School Manager, Fr. Melwyn D’Souza.
Mrs. Archana introduced the Chief Guest, Fr. Rithesh Rodrigues, the Parish Priest of St. Thomas Church, Kollangana. He was felicitated by the school and delivered an inspiring speech on leadership.
The event also featured the inauguration of eight school clubs. The club leaders were honoured with sashes, badges, and greeting cards, and took an oath administered by the Manager. This was followed by a vibrant display of club activities.
The Manager then addressed the gathering, encouraging the students to lead with commitment and integrity. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by the School Head Boy, Pradhan, followed by the National Anthem. The ceremony ended with a photo session of the School Council and club members.
